09-07-08: Kids Praise is back! We'll meet at 10:00 am in Classroom C (note new location). In addition to songs, story, prayer and so much more, a snack will be served to the kids at 10:45 am. 09-07-08: Sunday Worship Service at 11:00 am. Guest speaker: Dale Chin

09-07-08: We are jammin’ to a new Sunday School year! All 2nd - 6th graders will be with their families for the entire worship service on the first Sunday of the month. For all other Sundays, they will be in worship for the first 30 minutes; then the teachers will meet them in the back of the sanctuary to go to Sunday School. All younger children will be in Sunday School for the entire worship service from 11:00 am – 12:15 pm. The 3-4 year olds (preschoolers) will meet in Classroom D. 09-07-08: The Leadership Team and the Pastoral Search Committee will be holding a Town Hall Meeting in Classroom A after the worship service to discuss the pastoral search process for the Pastor of Family Life. You do not need to be a member to attend.

09-13-08: Get on the Bus for our first ever Grace Ministries Tour -- come celebrate Grace Community's 10th Anniversary by helping to share our mission of service and outreach! Please join our very own mini Journey to Mosaic 1- day experiential bus trip to go outside our church walls into the community! We will be visiting ministries members of our church have been involved in: Silicon Valley Christian Health Alliance, Leland House, Green Pastures, and Family Center in East Palo Alto. Everyone is welcome, including kids (at parents' discretion). Breakfast and lunch provided. Cost: FREE! Please sign up fast as space on the bus is limited to 40! 09-14-08: It’s Grace’s 10th Anniversary and we’ll worship together with Foothill Covenant Church, our first host church, in our Sanctuary. Please carpool as much as possible. Also, due to space constraints, please no strollers in the Sanctuary during the worship service. Following the worship service there will be a ten-year retrospective slide show. And then we’ll have lunch together on the lawn so please bring picnic blankets.

09-15-08 & 09-16-08: Moving from Promise to Fulfillment: Teaching with Peter Kumar from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm. Join us at Grace on both nights as Peter Kumar will share biblical principles that will help us understand God’s promise. Peter has a prophetic teaching ministry called “ForeRunners – Nation Changers Ministry School.” Peter travels to at least one nation or more each month as guided by God. 09-20-08: Understanding and Using Spiritual Gifts: Teaching with Pastor Andrew Mutana from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. After lunch from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm, there will be an extended prayer time. Pastor Andrew is the founder of Global Impact Ministries based in Kenya, Africa. By the grace of God, he continuously ministers in several countries in Africa, Asia and America.

09-20-08: Community Involvement Team Ministry Opportunity at the Silicon Valley Christian Health Alliance free clinic from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.
